*Insurance Information - through Adults & Children’s Alliance with a liability limit of $300,000, also is posted in the entry closet.
*I Am a Mandated Reporter and by law must report actions toward children.
*Employees/Substitute Caregivers-My husband Mark, has taken the require sids, shaken baby, CPR and First Aide. He has also taken the three hour car
David (20) and Stacy(18) have taken Sids, Shaken baby and First Aide class. My "children" are not “in charge” of the little ones. However they doact as another set of eyes that is nice to have around.
*Grievance Procedure -If you have any concerns or complaints about my program, please discuss them with me as soon as possible. I’m a very logical person. Allow me a chance to fix the issue or explain why it can't be fixed.
If you feel the need please write out your concerns and possible suggestions and we can have a formal meeting.
*Alcohol and Drug policies-According to state and county guidelines I must have in place a policy for Adult usage of drugs and alcohol on my child care premises. MN statute 245A.04 subd.1
No illegal use of non-prescription or prescription drugs are allowed by any adult/child on my premises. The only legal drugs that can be taken (prescription/over the counter) are understood NOT to effect the ability to take care of children.
Any person working with the children must tell the license holder of any medication they are taking and why they are taking it.
No person in charge of children will be allowed to drink alcohol. No person drinking alcohol will be near or have any influence on the children or the running of the daycare.
